PS3 3D gaming and Blu-ray movies by Blitz Tech
The PS3 is already the best console in my eyes with amazing technology, good games, Sony Home and of course Blu-ray. Many would say it does not need anything else because it has it all, well it will get much more and we know that for a fact.
Well the latest news reports that the PS3 will get 3D technology which would be awesome, 3D gaming and Blu-ray 3D movies on the PS3 console is something to get excited about. This could all happen in 2009 thanks to Blitz Games Studios’s Blitz Tech 3D engine.
President and CEO, Neil Schneider said “world’s first and only stereoscopic 3D certification and advocacy group,” the company creating and licensing the 3D engine, that Sony “fully intends” to use stereoscopic 3D for their games and blu-ray movies beginning in 2009.
For this to happen, all that is needed is a bios upgrade, “ability to add this capability via bios may be unique to Sony PS3 versus the other console solutions.”
Now for the technology to move forward is not for us to wear ghastly 3D glasses but instead to implement 3D technology into displays, roll on 2009 to see where the world of PS3 3D will take us. Oh what a journey we PS3 gamers will have, all we say is “Hurry up Sony because you know Microsoft like to nick ideas (You know like LIPS).
